Feed Me Weird Things Squarepusher Rarest

SHOTM is a collective/ensemble that specializes in what has been referred to as Free Folk. Basically an amalgam of far-out folk, avant/free jazz, and myriad other elements and styles of the 'underground' musical landscape. This particular Sunburned Hand Of The Man release is special, in that electronic producer (and a N.O.L.E.

Fave) Four Tet was brought on board to remix a collection of SHOTM jams. The result is an almost dancefloor-ready free-folk electronic jamboree. Highly Recommended! SHOTM -Fire Escape (2007). Brain-Damaged Electro-Funk from Gary Wilson's homemade 1977 debut. This album is considered a keystone among the weird and avant, and way ahead of its time with regards to content and production.

First of all the movie is technically brilliant. The cinematography, visuals and sets looked authentic.

Tom ‘Squarepusher’ Jenkinson makes some of the most breathtaking, emotive electronic music ever recorded and/or performed. This should not be news, as he has been blowing my mind since at least 1995’s Feed Me Weird Things and has not really released anything remotely mediocre since that time.

Before the re-issue, this album was considered both legendary and impossible to find. Thanks to artists such as Beck and Stones Throw Records' Peanut Butter Wolf, Wilson has enjoyed a renewed career and some of the credit he so justly deserves.
