For those trying to decide whether to buy a raw manga or not, you. Read Inuyasha Manga Online. Kagome is a modern Japanese high school girl. Never the type to believe in myths and legends, her world view dramatically changes when, one day, she 's pulled out of her own time and into another!
I realized after looking at 's sig that the end of the Inuyasha anime must have aired, so I went and nabbed it on youtube. And ended up watching more.
I had not been in Inuyasha fandom or reading it since long, long before the series ended. I did catch it when the manga ended, but I didn't feel inclined to blog about it until now. I was a huge Kagome/Inuyasha shipper. However, my favorite character from the series was Kikyou.
She had a ton of haters, but she was determined, she was beautiful, she was well-constructed, and she knew what a 'goal' was and how to reach it. She was not a bad person, and I viewed her as a fractured version of what Kagome could have been. For me, a Kag/IY shipper, it was pointless to hate Kikyour, because while the girls were literally separate entities, tell me which one Inuyasha was soulmates with. Download adobe premiere untuk 32 bit.
Seeing Kagome's happy ending with Inuyasha, the ending where she lives as a miko and marries Inuyasha and lives with him in the Sengoku Jidai. It's the resolution of that split, the tragic separation between soul mates that shouldn't have ever happened, and Kagome's happy ending is Kikyou's happy ending. I cried to see it. Not that I didn't read it in the manga, but I was so happy to see it animated. I wish Bleach anime would just stop and come back for a final arc later because they're ruining it with fillers. Kikyou, you were beautiful and I loved you even as 99% of fandom hated you. Kagome, you have a happy ending with Inuyasha, and even as a shipper I am eternally amused that you never kissed him in the manga.
Also, Miroku and Sango had really cute babies. Yay~ Finally. Wow I think I underestimated the Sesshoumaru/Rin vibe when I read the last chapter. That's not subtle in the slightest. Finally, I found someone who loves Kikyou.
She was my favorite character along with Sesshomaru. I love Kikyou because she was strong and her past with Inuyasha was heart wrenching to watch. Unlike IchiRuki and IchiOri, I really couldn't choose between InuKag and InuKik.
I love both pairings equally, because they BOTH have undeniable feelings for each other. The creator of Inuyasha had put in a lot of efforts for both pairings.
To deny one pairing’s importance over the other is like disrespecting the creator hard work. With all my heart I loved Kikyou. It infuriated me at the time to see people from my own ship act like Kikyou was some alien evil entity completely separate from Kagome --- ummmmmm, how? I knew why they didn't like her. She was strong, she had priorities, she went after things she wanted - and in no way was she a stereotypical crying female. I'm not saying Kagome was, because that's a ship and girl I loved too, but Kikyou was kind of an anomaly, and I think she unnerved people.
But she was really beautiful, and I am happy that she eventually got a kind of happy ending. And it really is an appropriate resolution to the 'love triangle' -- Kikyou finally came home to Inuyasha.
(I cried back in the day when we really saw how she and Inuyasha fell in love. It was love, terrifying and emotional and so strong that it hurt.) AND L O L I HAVE THIS HALF-BAKED KIKYOU/SESSHOUMARU FANFIC SITTING ON A HARD DRIVE SOMEWHERE. Oh that poor thing never got off the ground; I wrote the beginning and I wrote the ending. I can't say I ever loved Kikyo, but I never really hated her.
